June 20th: Top Ten Series I’ve Been Meaning To Start But Haven’t
–Be sure to check out http://www.brokeandbookish.com for upcoming and previous Top Ten Tuesdays!-
In no particular order:
- The Remnant Chronicles by Mary E Pearson
- The Mara Dyer Trilogy by Michelle Hodkins
- The Lunar Chronicles by Marissa Meyer
- Magnus Chase series by Rick Riordan
- Trials of Apollo series by Rick Riordan
- Sweet Evil series by Wendy Higgins
- An Ember in the Ashes Duology by Sabaa Tahir
- Falling Kingdoms Series by Morgan Rhodes
- Rebel Belle series by Rachel Hawkins
- Broken Hearts & Revenge Trilogy by Katie Finn
This topic was a super easy one. I’m always falling behind on series. Or purposfully waiting until most of the books are out to get hooked.
Hope you enjoyed! Can’t wait to read your Top Ten Tuesdays!
Thanks for Reading!

Great list, I’ve started both the Lunar chronicles and the Falling Kingdom series but have yet to finish them and the Remnant Chronicles sounds really good.

I’m glad I’m not alone with some of these series, I feel like everyone has read most of them. 🙂
I hope you enjoy reading them!

Cool list – I have the Lunar Chronicles too – but also have pretty much all the others on an extended list which is not published lol – too many series to read. Hope you get to these soon.

I should have included the Mara Dyer series on my list, too. I haven’t read it, but want to.

I’ve had all three Mara Dyer books on my shelves for a while. I’ve always heard good things about them too. Can’t wait to get to them. 🙂

I like to wait until most, if not all, the books are out as well. It gets hard to wait!

It really does! For some series, I just can’t wait at all. But for the most part I like waiting for more books and then reading all of them at once. 🙂

I liked the first Mara Dyer book, but I didn’t know it was a series until years later and now I don’t know whether to continue the series!

I’ve heard good things about the later books too. I would definitely have to reread it, if I were you. I wouldn’t remember a single thing years later. LOL

I did The Hidden Oracle from the Trials of Apollo series last semester, and oh, boy, did Apollo annoy me. But maybe that was the point. Happy reading!

Lol! I liked Apollo in the other series, but he was only in there for a couple of scenes. So maybe this new series won’t be a huge overdose of Apollo.
Thanks! 🙂

Well, Apollo is the narrator and he’s been put in the body of a gangly teenage boy. There’s a fair amount of whining, and a fair amount of pretentiousness. When I got past the fact that this was really true to Apollo’s character, I was fine.

Oh. Okay. I’m sure I’ll love it. But that will probably annoy me a little bit too.

I do the same thing. I am always waiting for all the books in a series to come out.

It’s a smart thing to do. I love reading all the books in a series at once. 🙂
I wish I could do it for every series.
