Welcome to The Nintendo Book Tag

I was tagged by the lovely IceBreaker694, you can check out their answers HERE!
I’ve read this on a lot of blogs lately also, and it looks so fun!

Be sure to try this out for yourself, or let me know some of your answers in the comments!

mario party.gifI absolutely LOVE Nintendo. My favorite console ever is the GameCube. I just have a lot of memories going up with it, and playing Mario Party non-stop.
Mario Kart is the only game that I can beat my brothers at. And I remind them of that a lot, lol.
I also really love the 3DS and Animal Crossing: New Leaf.
animal crossing.gifI just love Nintendo, and it’s the only brand of consoles that are in my house at the moment. ๐Ÿ™‚

NES (Nintendo Entertainment System): A classic you want to read

–In high school, I had the worst English teacher ever the year that we had to read The Great Gatsby. Everyone loves that book. I hated it. BUT I want to try rereading it so that maybe I might like it this time? We shall see if that ever happens.

SNES (Super Nintendo): A sequel you liked more than the first (can be a second book in a series)

— I always always say Never Fade from The Darkest Minds Trilogy. But I think Crooked Kingdom might take it’s place soon!

Nintendo 64: A book that revolutionized the way you look at the world

ย — Very Good Lives by JK Rowling

Gamecube: A popular book that did not go over so well with you

harvest moon.gifThe Hunger Games Trilogy, I never made it past 100 pages in Catching Fire. Oops.
The movies were really good though!

Wii: A new favorite book

Geekerella by Ashley Poston! This is a brand new favorite.

Nintendo Power: Favorite graphic novel series or a series you want to start

— I have not read any graphic novels yet. But I do want to read Seconds by Brain Lee O’Malley

Super Mario: A character that youโ€™d love to squish like a Goomba

— Lake AND Will from Slammed by Colleen Hoover. I just didn’t like either of them. They are both so frustrating. Let’s just squish them and then then maybe they’ll learn to not be so over-dramatic.

Zelda: A newer fantasy that you consider to be a modern classic

zelda game grumps.gifSpeak by Laurie Halse Anderson.
This book meant a lot to me, I hope more people read it over the years.

Samus-Aran: Favorite sci-fi novel or one you want to read

— I have not read any sci-fi’ books yet. But I do want to read These Broken Stars by Amie Kaufman and Megan Spooner.

Pokemon: Book editions that you want to collect

pokemon.gif–Harry Potter. I really want the Hufflepuff version of the 20th anniversary edition. I also might collect the UK paperbacks of all of the books someday. Ya know, when I win the lottery.

Donkey Kong: A book with original characters

Six of Crows. Every one of the characters is so different from the next. There multiple POC and it’s perfect. I love each and every one of these characters so much!

Nintendo Fandom: Favorite Nintendo game(s) or game

luigi's mansion.gif— Luigi’s Mansion. I know. A lot of people don’t like this game. But I LOVE it.
— I am also a master at Mario Kart.
— Harvest Moon and Animal Crossing are also some of my faves.

  1. I think I might give this a go. I really wanna set a day for book tags like I do with my writing and happy posts, so I might dedicate Sundays to that. And um, the Hufflepuff version of that book? I NEED THAT TOO!!!
