RULES: -Grab a book, any book. – Turn to page 56 or 56% in your eReader
-Find any sentence (or a few, be sure not to spoil anything)
– I just finished reading Vicious by L.J. Shen a few days ago. I liked it, but I knew I shouldn’t. Mainly because of the whole controlling Alpha male asshole. But I would still recommend it, cause I loved it. (goodreads link)
– So here is 56% in the ebook. I got this through the Kindle Unlimited library, so if you use that definitely check this book out!
“He was light in a dark fog. But I knew better than everyone how bad the gorgeous dancing flames in him could burn. If I treated it as a fling, my heart would be guarded away. His too.”
Book Beginnings is a perfect tie-in to The Friday 56. Check out http://www.rosecityreader.com/ for more info. But all you do is post the beginning sentence of a book, and your thoughts on it. Super simple!
— The first sentence was the main reason I finished reading Vicious, it just weirdly drew me in. Plus it basically tells you that it’s a hate to love relationship, which are so good to read!
“My grandmama once told me that love and hate are the same feelings experienced under different circumstances.”
