-Find any sentence (or a few, be sure not to spoil anything)
– This week I decided to continue with The Raven Boys series by Maggie Steifvater and share page 56 of The Raven King with you all. (Goodreads)
– I have to say that my favorite part of doing The Friday 56 for all of The Raven Cycle is looking up all the fan art to go along with it. I just love this series so far and the characters so much.
“Gansey was still talking to his phone. “No, traffic is nonexistent unless it’s a bingo night. A shuttle? How many people are you expecting? I can’t imagine — oh. The activity bus could be pressed into service, surely.”
Book Beginnings is a perfect tie-in to The Friday 56. Check out http://www.rosecityreader.com/ for more info. But all you do is post the beginning sentence of a book, and your thoughts on it. Super simple!
Prologue: “Richard Gansey III had forgotten how many times he had been told he was destined for greatness.”
Chapter One: “Depending on where you began the story, it was a story about the women of 300 Fox Way.”
That’s it! Happy Friday!
